Visual and Performing Arts
St. John's Lutheran School has a rich history of supporting the arts. Students have the opportunity to express their own creativity through daily activities in their respective classrooms, various vocal and instrumental music ensembles, and visual arts.
General Music
Students have the opportunity to participate in an all encompassing general music program beginning as young as Kindergarten. Each student's musical potential will be fully realized as they learn about rhythm, pitch, musical expression, and so much more.
Instrumental Music
St. John's offers an excellent instrumental music education. Students can begin instrumental music as young as fifth grade. We offer a variety of rehearsals and meeting times from early morning, to pull-out classes, to afternoon rehearsals. Students will have the opportunity to perform in scheduled concerts at St. John's, within the community, and in festivals, parades and competitions outside of Bakersfield.
